I have a Stainless Beretta 96, which came with the ugly rubber grips. Someone gave me a set of the gorgeous standard plastic grips, but I am having a problem:

The holes that the screws fit into are too deep. If I screw the grip screws as tightly as possible, the bottom of the screw hits the mag and hampers its operation.

If I leave the screws a bit loose (as they are now) the grip panel is slightly loose.

Ideas?

Anyone have extra 92/96 grips they'd sell or trade me?

Thank you

I was going to suggest washers or

THE EVIL ALTERNATIVE: Craftsman Series Diamond File to slightly file down the screws. :what: J/K

See you Sunday

i replied to your WTB/T thread but Russ has told you the right answer.
ill bet you can find some washers for cheap or free on the berettaforum.net. BUSA probably wont charge much either but before calling them id see what the local hardware shop could do for me.
