Beretta M9 and 96 vertec,good deals?

I was at my local gun shop today, and I was looking at some of the beretta 92s, and I noticed that they had a new M9 for $519, also looking in the used section, I noticed that they had a barely used 96 vertec for $499. I was wondering if either of these are spectacular deals?

Prices can vary by geographic region, but for the M9 I can honestly say that that price is about average, or maybe slightly below. Not stellar, nor is it horrible by any means.
