Heres mine

This was my first auto loader and a PD trade it is the gun I used to qualify for my CCW with and if it were as compact as my 229 I would probably carry it a lot more than I do.

I carried a 92FS on duty for 7 years, worked every time I needed it to. Went out and got a full size 92FS and a 92 Compact in INOX. Still have them both.

3 92's one high polish
2 84's one nickle, one blued
1 81 in 32 acp
2 21A's in 22 LR one nickle, one blued
1 21A in 25 acp
1 950 in 25 acp

So 10 berettas in all

I had both the 45 and the 92 Series Beretta CX4 carbines.

The 92 Series 9mm was a tack driver, very controllable and fun to shoot. This version of the 9mm gives you the most rounds as the 92 series has some aftermarket 32 rounders which work. (the other two versions take the PX4 series mags 20 max so far and the 8000 cougar series mags-not sure what the max is but it ain't much)

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MAG143-36.html - don't let the promag name throw you look at the reviews...one of them is mine.

The 45ACP version takes the Cougar 45 mags (8 max) and given that low number of rounds really sucks. 8 rounds that's it, unless you have someone make a mag for you. Being a blowback weapon the 45 has a lot of push back and is not as much fun to shoot. It was however very accurate and well made.

Don't shoot the 40 round but given the ammo's snap I would probably not like the 40 version.

Hope this helps.

Have a M84FS (actually the wife's) .380 nickel plated, 13+1, made in Italy and a real gem.....Fits like a glove, reliability has been absolute, it goes bang every single time.

The only complaint would be all the "warning info" stamped on it, cobbling up such a beautiful design!

With that said, the little .380 Beretta is seldom ever talked about or recognized when people talk .380s but I'd put it up against any manufacture, for quality and reliability......However, they're not cheap so pony up the green!

future Beretta owner here

I've decided my next gun will be the PX4 9mm. Hopefully by this time next month I'll be providing firsthand rave reviews of my first trip to the range. :D

CX4 lover

notorious...I have 2 Berettas. A tomcat that I sometimes use as a bug and the CX4. Not all that crazy about the tomcat but it serves a purpose. The carbine is a totally different matter. I really like this carbine and it's a hoot to shoot. It eats whatever you feed it and doesn't mind being dirty. Very accurate and breaks down easily for cleaning. My son likes it too. Easy to shoot and very manageable recoil. Pictured is my CX4 with A cheap Bushnell scope. The second photo is my son's best 10 rounds on a bench from 30 yds using remington range ammo.

I think Beretta owners/enthusiasts just aren't as vocal as the 1911, Glock, or S&W revolver nuts. I love my 1911, my XDs, my S&W and Ruger revolvers, etc. But if I could only own 1 semi-auto pistol, it would be my Italian-made 92fs. I could sit and look at that thing for hours. When I put it in my hand, it seems to melt. When I rack the slide, it's like 2 sticks of warm butter sliding together. It has a distinctive, tight, soft, clack-clack sound that warms my heart. I don't get any of these feelings with my "lesser" handguns.;)

I have a 92fs and it's great ! I've actually never had a problem with any Beretta i've shot 92fs , 92fs compact , Jetfire 25 acp . All were excellent

Beretta 92fs Brigadier Inox here.Love that gun.Feels like the slide is on roller bearings, and it has cycled anything I have put in it.

Beretta pistols have certainly drawn some conspicuous criticism, but few passionate advocates who start endless "92FS blows away the G17/P226/XD/whatever" threads. I would say that this is partly because Beretta's post-92 designs, however good they are, have not captured the imagination of the internet gun community on a wide scale, the 92 itself is a little long in the tooth and there isn't that much new to say about it, and because people who like 92s are inherently sensible and reasonable folks with good taste who don't like to call attention to themselves. :D

notorious...I haven't used the front rail but I guess it would hold a flashlight. There are other rail systems available that mount on the side of the forestock but I haven't had a use for them.

Those billennium's are nice pieces. I would love to aquire a Beretta 92 steel-I but i would be afraid to shoot it. Its just too beautiful/rare to get dirty. Here's the Billennium followed by the Steel-I.

I see you own a CX4, are you happy with it? I looking to get one in 40S&W, on a trade. Any info or insight would be appreciated

The one i have is a 9mm. Im very happy with it. It would be one of the last firearms i would sell, if it came to that. Some people say the early models had problems but mine is #00056x(bought it within months of its release) and ive been very happy since. With the iron peep hole sights, it makes one big hole at 25 yds. Its a suprisingly accurate firearm. Im not sure on the round count but i'd imagine im well over 1000 rounds. Probably ~1200rds or so. Ive never had a malfunction and thats using cheap ammo, expensive ammo, reloads, "hot" reloads, +P ammo, anything. Some people think the triggers arent the best, but there a thread on Berettaforum.net where a member has a DIY trigger job.

As far as the 40S&W, im not sure. I know they make models in 9mm and 40S&W that accept either the Beretta 92/96 series mags or the 9mm and 40S&W PX4 Storm mags. So depending on if you have a Beretta pistol or want one in the future, its wise to pick accordingly. Unless you have some more specific questions, the best i could really do is point you over to Berettaforum.net. Theres a bunch of good and knowledgable guys on there.
