Is the Beretta px4 Storm .45 acp capabable of handling +P loads?

    Thanks!

Just about any modern auto will handle +p ammo. Your owners manual should tell you what Beretta recommends. Personally, I think 45 does just fine at regular pressures that +p ammo isn't that necessary for carry ammo. I carry what I practice with and firing thousands of +p rounds through my carry guns would only accelerate wear on the weapon. If you are only talking about shooting a few rounds downrange or for a special purpose I wouldn't really worry about it.

The Underwood 185gr moving at 1200fps is pretty tempting.

I have the PX4 Compact in .40 that is my EDC. Awesome pistol. The full size PX4 in .45 should eat +P without a problem. Though, read the owners manual, just in case.

I'm creating safe pressure Longshot .40 180gr loads that are moving around 1190fps. 12+1 rounds of lite 10mm velocities. Awesome to say the least. PX4 eats them like candy.
