Went to the range today. The only problem that I had with my Beretta Tomcat and Bobcat was feeding. The ammo would miss the pipe and point towards the ceiling jamming the slide open. I had no problems with extracting or stovepiping. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas. I think the ammo was very weak and old. Maybe, that has something to do with it.

I can speak to the bobcat, i picked one up last year. It must be super clean or it will not feed correctly. Mine also likes wetter than normal (clean) rails. Make sure to use high velocity 22LR. Your old/weak stuff should be fired out of something else. If you do this you should be good to go. Keep in mind this is a pocket 22... it will never be as reliable as most other autos. Especially larger caliber, non rimfire, autos.

I can speak for the 21A Bobcat also.....First, I would try a new magazine in it, filled with CCI Mini-Mag solids.
Seems that 21A Bobcats can be good or bad (like any firearm). Mine is a good one. It cycles most anything I put through it. It's never failed once with CCI Mini-Mags (over a couple thousand rounds so far) and it even functions quite well with Walmart Federal bulk. Mine prefers high velocity over hyper velocity rounds. I do not keep it dripping with oil and it's only stopped once for lack of cleanliness; when Remington Viper rounds clogged it up in just two magazines. I no longer use Remington .22 rounds of any kind.

In fact, my Beretta 21A and it's Taurus PT22 clone are in my range bag right now....for a little fun after work (along with a few other pistols).
