Wondering how you guys that ccw the bersa thunder .380's carry it. OWB, IWB, pocket? I ccw'd a SW 642 in my front pocket until it got relocated to my wife's vehicle. So now I am back into the ccw market. I may get another 642, but I like to view other available options. The Bersa Thunder .380 CC looks like a pretty good piece for ccw. about the size of the 642, a little heavier, but thinner, and a very reasonable price. Just wondering how most people carry this, and how much ya'll like it or dislike it. thanks

I have a Bersa Thunder (not the cc model) that I've carried IWB. It's a little large for me to pocket carry easily, but it's a great, reliable gun.

I have a nice IWB leather job from Ugly Bald Guy holsters:

It's quite nice on the whole and is a nice slim package. Retention is good, though one-handed reinsertion can be tricky. Still, nice for the money.

CC for pocket carry and Thunder for IWB
Custom Holsters for Bersa can be found a http://ubghplsters.com I have 3 Bersa and 1911's and well made and comfortable. He started make holsters because those of us that had Bersa including him. Couldn.t find a true Bersa holster. Nate is the holster maker of choice at http://bersatalk.com .
Check him out for you pistol needs.

thanks for all the replies so far. seems like the preferred method is IWB and OWB. Michael T, is it difficult to pocket carry the cc model?

I use a clipdraw with mine. It's more comfortable than any IWB holster I've ever tried. And with the T380CC's manual safety and heavy DA trigger pull, not using a holster is not a concern for me.

I carry my Bersa thunder, strongside IWB, just in front of my hip with the butt angled up at near a 45 degree angle. In a holster I made from an old leather carseat cover. Worn with a t-shirt untucked it rarely ever prints.

I carry my in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. Fits and conceals well in the front pocket. I like the little Bersa at the beginning, but the more I shoot it the more I dislike it. The recoil is a little strong for the little 380. I get powder burn on my skin. I can't hold it comfortably, and of cause since i can't hold it comfortably I can't shoot it very accurately. The slide won't lock back sometime because my thumb get in the way of the slide stop operation. I guess i like carrying it but not shooting it.

well, thanks to everybody for the input. i belive anyone would be well served by the bersa .380, but i have decided to get another SW 642.
