Guys - Imagining we could get what we want right now, what is the BEST BRAND of bulk ammo in the following calibers:

    1. 5.56 (Usually buy Winchester White Box NATO)
    2. 7.62x39 (for SKS)
    3. 9mm standard
    4. 9mm 124 grain (Usually buy Winchester White Box NATO)
    5. 45 ACP (Usually buy Winchester White Box NATO)

Being that these are crazy times I would like to use the bulk stuff for practice and save the better ammo.

I think Triumph is asking what kind of bulk ammo you like in certain calibers.
In three cases he is saying he usually buys WWB, and I think he wants to hear your opinion.
I don't use any of those calibers except for 45 ACP. I am not particular - I will buy WWB, PMC, Magtech, Aquila - whatever I find cheap. They all seem to be at least ok.

American Eagle is pretty good stuff, but they did have a recall on one lot of .308 about a year ago.

That is correct. My local Sporting good store Academy Sports has several locations and sells ammo at good prices. They do not mark up ammo during high demand but usually sell out by noon on the days they receive shipments.

I've been buying the WWB in 9mm, 45ACP and 5.56 because that is what they have. They carry Tula and Monarch in 7.62x39.

There is another thread that has some questions on WWB quality. Too late for that since I already have a bunch.

I was asking for other ideas incase they get some shipments or supply starts to come back.
