Luger toggle top. Don't have one and don't want one, but that's not what you asked.

Off the top of my head, I would say ArmySon's 1911. Unique and beautiful at the same time.

I wouldn't say it was the best or the coolest, but my gold plated Desert Eagle gets the coolest vote by nongunowners.

    Chewbacca's laser crossbow, or bowcaster.

    Next, the Luger P08.

I'm on a Sci-Fi kick right now, so anything future-istic is catching my eye lately, like the FN P90 or the Mateba.

As far as my favorite Cool Guns? Luger, Desert Eagle, Beretta, and Barett 50BMG.

AR15 and HK MP5SD are also in there.

Hmmm... well. That list could keep going all day...I'd better stop now. :)

    Best/Coolest looking?

    Semi-auto handgun:
near tie (the 3 alternate for me) between the 1911 (just about any config.), Beretta 84 in nickel, Beretta 92 in Inox.

    Revovler:
(another tie) Colt Python, S&W blue K-frame .38s and .357s (M19 and M10 especially) and Colt SAA (and clones)

    Rifle:
Winchester 1873 followed by the 94

    Shotgun:
Just about any O/U with a silver or chrome plated, engraved, receiver.

I've seen this gun in person at the Reno NRA convention gun show:

It's a heavily modified Blackhawk, Titanium cylinder and other parts, proper sights, chambered in 50AE. Just awesome. Weighs 26 ounces. "Recoil is not for the squeamish."

Pistol: Colt 1911 - the original, not the A1. Classic beauty.

Revolver: who doesn't think a snubbie is sexy? S&W 640 with a boron carbide finish.

I know they have their problems and they are WAY overpriced, but I just love the Steyr AUG. On the other end of the scale, I find the NAA Mini-Master to be pretty cool.

Revolver-wise, have to be either a Mateba or a Dan Wesson Silhouette.
Auto-wise, polished stainless Beretta, or polished deep blued 1911, both with wood grips

In the full auto catagory the FN P90 is way cool, but, as much as I hate to say it, I like the looks of the Ruger MP-9.

In a handgun I have always thought that the Walther GSP or OSP was the coolest looking.

Shotgun award would go to the Neostead pump.

For a rifle, although the Tavor we saw at the SHOT Show earlier this year comes in a compact version that looks a lot like the FN P90, is there really anything neater than a Barrett M82?

Semi: The Desert Eagle, hands down.

Rifle: Hmmmm...a certain AR15 pistol I know of.

Shotgun: Easy, SPAS 12. There is no other. :D

    Oh yeah, wheel guns: Anaconda

For pistols, definitely a Mateba Unica 6 in .357, with a 6" barrel.

My personal favorite is the Tommy Gun, which I thought was named for me when I was a boy.

I like both the 1928 and M1 configurations.
