Best deals on surplus or C&R guns right now?

Swiss K31s rock. It is the best (and most accurate) surplus rifle I ever bought, with the exception of my M1 Garand. For $200-250, these rifles are a steal.

I'm not sure what the 7.5x55 Swiss ammo situation is though. If it's not available, that would be a big buzzkill. OTOH, if you're a reloader, this is a great platform to roll your own ammo for (.308 bore and very similar to .308 loads).

The way I understand it the 7.5x55 Swiss surplus dried up awhile back. If you can find any, it is much higher than it used to be. And of course berdian primed, so not reloadable. There is commercial ammo available.

you said 1903's are coming down in price. From where? All I see at the CMP are "unfireable" 1903's.

I'd rate the Cz-82 as a Must Buy. They're like East German Makarovs...the day they run out, the price will double.

Tokarevs are OK.
