Best grip for an SP101??

Thanks for all the input. I'm going to put on a set of Pachmayr Compacs to start things off. A buddy of mine has a set of Trausch grips on order for his, and he already has the Hogue's. When all are set, we will do a head-to-head. I have to admit that those smooth oak inserts that Cocked & Locked was showing off may be the best looking of the bunch. Thanks again guys.

"the title says it all"

Sadly the title is 100% wrong. The title should not be "best grip for an SP101" but rather "best grip for MY HANDS". THe grips on the gun are the part that interfaces the shooting platform with the human gripping element. Because of this the gun is irrelavant. You need to try out a number of the grips to find which fits your hand the best and then equip all your revolvers with that same brand and model of grip so ALL your guns fit your hand equally well.

There's been lots of excellent quality options posted but other than by accident none of the posters have your hands on their arms. So none of the suggestions is really valid for YOUR HANDS. You need to go and try out a log of grips, or better yet guns with those grips, to see which is the perfect match to your hands.

"But then again Hogue works for me on a lot of guns, in fact I once tried to convince the wife to let me outfit our toilets with Hogue toilet seats.......sadly I was unsuccessful with that proposal."

I hate to see your diet that you need recoil control in the loo!
HAHAHA Kevin!!! Thats pretty dang funny.
