Ideas on the best "gunny" hangouts in Houston, TX, during the NRA annual meetings?

Good question. Also, is there any interest in THR members getting together during the convention to sample local brews and have a FTF forum?

For looking not buying try Collector's on the corner of Richmond and Fondren. It's probably 15 to 20 miles for GRB, about a 40 min drive. Carter's Country on I-10 West(Katy Freeway) has a small room of game mounts. Never having been to a NRA convention (till April) I bet that you probably will see more in the expos than either place.

Two Rows is a great place to sample local brews. Not only is Wednesday $1 pint night but Thursday is 1/2 price ribs and $2 pints. The food is pretty alright too, but the service is usually a little shaky. The village has some great spots in and around it to hit.
