i think 1911's are the best looking hanguns ever made. i just bought a springfield milspec stainless steel 1911a1. it has cocobolo wood grips with the springfield cannons on 'em. beautiful! i'll post a picture here shortly. i've already decided i need another one! what do you think are the best looking 1911's? i personally love the way Kimber's two-tones look.

    pictures welcome!

If you love 1911s then one day you need a custom. Make it just the way you want it and it will be your favorite thing in the safe. Here's my Caspian commander in .40S&W.

i didn't know if i'd like it, so i tried it on 1 of them first, then after some time i found i liked the flat trigger better than the long curved trigger, so they all got switched.

Ive shot a friends and during faster drills, i noticed that even if my finger didn't fall directly center on the trigger, the pull felt the same. I like em' i just haven't made the jump to buy them and start switching them out

that's exactly why i switched. the flat trigger also doesn't force my finger to the center of the trigger like the long curved does.

Pretty much any black/blued 1911 without front cocking serrations looks good to me.
