Best place to buy Lead/Alloy???????

Just started molding my own bullets and had some lead/alloy ingots that came with the equipment I bought. Bullets turned out really good so I want to continue to make my own. What is the best place to buy lead/alloy to mold my own bullets? Or does someone have another suggestion. I do not want to shoot straight lead though.

Go to yout local tire retailer and scrounge for some used wheel weights. They make great bullets and will cost you very little or nothing. Go where you buy your tires.

midway has pre-smelted stuff for sale. i wonder if you could buy it from a recycler? not all people have access to the wheel weight route, so you might need alternatives.

hospitols can be a decent source for lead on occasion. its been brought up here before that they throw out old x ray lead, a couple 1000lbs at a time.
might be worth looking into
