I have lost confidence in my old .270 ( it groups like buckshot) and have decided on a CZ 550 American in .30-06 as my new deer rifle. I stopped by the local gunshop today and they were $770. Any suggestions on the best place to aquire one of these fine rifles for a better price?

I bought my 550 at Bud's Gun Shop in Paris, KY. It was fairly easy for me as I live down the road from Paris! It was a long wait though between ordering the rifle and it coming in. But I think that was due to the fact that I ordered the full stock version.

Lots of retailers carry CZ, even Wal Mart. There's Sportsmens Warehouse also carries CZ.
