If you were looking for a snatch-resistant holster for a Glock 29, what would be your choice? I've been looking at a Fobus and a Safariland...

A lefty OWB holster / nightstand holster that has the best combination of quick accessibility and a high level of snatch resistance - any ideas?

Thanks

I really like the Fobus paddle style due to its ease of wear/installation. Retention from the front is pretty good but I would guess that a snatch from the rear would be easier although a vertical pull is required. From a bedstand into a pair of sweats I can't think of a better holster, especially if the gun is in hand and the holster is for post resolution what ever that may be.

Blackhawk just started making the Serpa for the Glock 29/30. I like mine but it's not the best for CC. For OC or range it's excellent IMO. It's very new so some shops probably won't have it yet. I got mine from Blackhawk's web sight.

Dick,
I have been using a Blackhawk Serpa for my G26, G34 and G20. Great holster with both active and adjustable passive retention. They come with a paddle and a belt holster adapter. Great holster at a very affordable price.

I just got off the phone with the folks at Blackhawk, they told me that they haven't produced a SERPA holster yet for the G29.

Does anyone know if a SERPA holster for one of the other Glock subcompacts would work?

Thanks

swinokur - I see that the SERPA is out for the G30, but not - as far as I could tell - in a lefty version. Any ideas whether a holster for the G27 or the like might work?
