Anyone have any ideas on a great shoulder holster for a Sig 232? I have been looking at the Galco'Miami' classic, but they dont seem to come in Sig 232, and they are Horizontal. I think Vertical is safer, and a better hide.

Is it practical to convert a $150.00 Galco horizontal to vertical? Who can do that.

thanks

Ken Null's SMZ is an outstanding vertical shoulder holster for that size gun...it was actually designed for the Walther PPK with attached suppressor.

It is a little odd when you first see it, but i hides very well and is fast to draw from...just different

I had a ken Null SMZ, and it did work pretty well, and with a number of different guns including my P230's, but I dont think its the "vertical" you have in mind.

I've also owned/used the Bianchi "X15". Its a big, bulky holster and does not conceal very well.

My favorite holster for the P230's (as well as my Glock 26, and J frames), and my favorite shoulder holster all around, is the Galco "Executive". Its not a vertical holster, but it is very comfortable, and fairly concealable as shoulder holsters go (shoulder holsters are about the worst holster for concealment in general, and usually one of the easiest to spot) It works well under a sweatshirt or fleece. Here under a simple pull over sweatshirt...

Ok, thanks, I want leather, and will wear a jacket or heavy canvas shirt minimal, and yea, not wanting it pointing at my main arm artery! The exec is on the short list, but it points backward, which makes me nervous, any chance it could be tooled for vertical?

No, I doubt it. Its really not a big deal with it pointing backwards, and it allows you to get at the gun easier from either above or below, depending on what youre wearing.
