Lets say you have a Sig550 (or a G36?) and the mags have those cute things that let you clip them together to carry a bunch at once. How do you put them in mag pouches. They certainly take up more than one space in a .223 mag pouch for say, M4s. I can get them into .308 pouches, but they still sorta tend to snag.

Is there a specific carrier people or armies use, do they tape over or file off the clips in frustration or what?

If they clamp together, why not just put them all on the gun!? :D

O didn't really want two together, but that's a thought.

I have actually seen a sig rep showing off like 6 clamped togther in the gun! It was...bulky.

I remember seeing a guy fighting in Africa/Haiti/whereever using a G3, with about 8 magazines taped together, alternating up-down-up-down for the feedlips for the whole block.

Talk about ackward.

Blade-Tech makes these for ARs, AUGs, MP5s, and AKs. I sometimes wear two under a coat for an AR. I bet a little Dremel modification would fix you right up.

Pic won't load...try this link instead....AR Mag Pouch
