lol@ a stock marlin 60 outshooting a tricked out 1022, but ok.

my stock model 60 shot 3/4" to 1" at 50 yds.

my stock 1022 shoots 1"-1 1/4" at 50 yds.

my "tricked out" 1022 shoots 1/4" at 50 yds.

as far as a 22 for your wife i would go with either the marlin 60 or the ruger 1022.

if you ever want a budget benchrest 22 autoloader, get the 1022.

if you want to leave it stock, either will do nicely.
 
Get her a CZ 452, or 453 in .22LR. Quality guns at a reasonable price. Mount a decent scope on it for her and she'll have a blast, pun intended. :D

Hawks are one of the good guys in a healthy ecosystem. Please tell your associates to stop shooting them. Especially tell them federal law prohibits it. Tell them they're committing felonies. I'd be happy to talk to them if you wish. :mad:
