Biden brought up the magazine-capacity limit again in a Sunday interview (10/23/2022). He wanted to say that he wished a limit of 8 rounds per magazine, but due to his ongoing confusion said, "eight bullets in a round." He also brought up his handlers' desire to ban semi-automatic rifles. Again, he went off-script and talked about 100-round magazines.

Here is the news story:

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...pushing-limit-gun-owners-eight-bullets-round/

"President Joe Biden told NowThis News during a Sunday interview that he is pushing to limit gun owners to having no more than 'eight bullets in a round.'

"Natalie Barden, whose brother was killed in the December 14, 2012, Sandy Hook Elementary School attack, urged Biden to 'address ‘high capacity’ magazines' and asked what he is currently do to limit those magazines.

"Biden responded by saying he is going to push to ban ‘assault weapons’ after the midterm elections and urged people to vote for Democrats in order to secure the ban.

"He noted, 'My legislation says there can be no more than eight bullets in a round.'

"Biden continued, 'The guys doing these mass killings, they have magazines, they call them, that can hold up to 100 bullets in it. That’s just like having an automatic weapon, which we’re not allowed to have by the way, supposedly.'

"In the course of the interview Biden restated his claim that AR-15 bullets 'travel five times the speed of an ordinary bullet.' He also said AR-15 rifles are made for one thing, 'to kill people,' and said he can 'find no rational reason why ‘assault weapons’ should be sold, period.'"

If the Democrats could have passed magazine limits and AW bans (on the federal level), they would have done it already. And it will be even harder for them going forward. Not to mention that the Supreme Court has given strong indications that it would not look kindly on such efforts.

Yet another reason to be sure to vote in this November's election.
With a significant number of ... with the mind set that their votes do not count and the election is rigged thanks to the former antigun president, hopefully everything will work out.

I agree. I'd like to add that Biden is just pandering to his base before an election. Nothing to see here.

Some states have made attempts to prevent voter-fraud via tightened rules on mail-in votes. Some states have done just the opposite and mailed-out innumerable mail-in ballots, or they allow someone to send-in an application to get a mail-in ballot. The very soul of America and the integrity of the Constitution are at stake. Many wish to burn the U.S. Constitution.

https://thefederalist.com/2022/10/1...-out-the-vote-postcards-to-30000-noncitizens/

"The office of Colorado’s Democrat secretary of state admitted to “mistakenly” sending “get out the vote” postcards to roughly 30,000 noncitizens ahead of the state’s upcoming elections, according to a new report.

"As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office blamed “the error on a database glitch related to the state’s list of residents with driver’s licenses” and claimed that 'none of the noncitizens' would be permitted 'to register to vote if they [tried].'

“'The error happened after department employees compared a list of names of 102,000 people provided by the Electronic Registration Information Center [(ERIC)] … to a database of Colorado residents issued driver’s licenses,' the AP report reads. 'That Department of Revenue driver’s license list includes residents issued special licenses to people who are not U.S. citizens. But it didn’t include formatting information that normally would have allowed the Department of State to eliminate those names before the mailers went out.'

"Under state law, Colorado may issue driver’s licenses to non-U.S. citizens and is able to automatically register eligible citizens to vote when they acquire their license from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

"As reported by Federalist Staff Writer Victoria Marshall, a group known as ERIC was kickstarted in 2012 'by far-left activist David Becker and the left-leaning Pew Charitable Trusts' and “'hares voter roll data — including records of unregistered voters — it receives from the states with [the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR)].' CEIR was one of two leftist groups used to funnel Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s $419 million into U.S. states that resulted in the “private takeover of government election offices” during the 2020 election.

“'CEIR then develops targeted mailing lists and sends them back to the states to use for voter registration outreach,' Marshall writes. 'As part of their agreement with ERIC, states are not allowed to disclose any data they send to nor receive from ERIC, however, ERIC is not under the same constraints and is able to work with CEIR.'

"In Colorado, all registered voters are automatically sent a ballot in the mail, regardless of whether they intend to vote in-person on Election Day. This election cycle, the state plans on sending out ballots to voters as early as Oct. 17."

If the poles are right, he better hurry up or they are going to need a lot of voters to turn out more than once.

Either that or a lot more John Cornyn types to help them with their agenda to rid us of the 2nd amendment.

Ive heard of Duplex rounds, with 2 projectiles per cartridge.
7.62 NATO. green tipped . two 75 gr. solid copper bullets nose to tail. The nose of the rear bullet fits onto a deep hollow base in the front bullet. The base of the rear bullet is slightly angled to insure a few inches of dispersion at 100 meters. The stuff ran my M-14 without a bobble, but the two bullets didn't always strike close together.

Regarding President Biden; mixing ignorance with mental confusion will invariably result in some ridiculous statements. And I wanna know what powder Joe is reloading with, to get 10,000+ FPS out of an AR bullet. :what:

It is scary that there are folks who are so ignorant passing laws for us.
I know, I wish we could publish a comprehensive list of every falsehood every lawmaker/politician/media head circulated in public and have annotations explaining why the statements are outright lies and/or factually absurd..... but it would probably fall on deaf ears.

My favorite, "the AR15 assault rifle can snap off 100rds per second and has no place on our streets" -Some D politician from california

and has no place on our streets" -
They like to say "we need to take these weapons off the streets" because it sounds more palatable than "we need to take these weapons out of your homes". And for the same reason they say "we need to close the gun show loophole" instead of "we need to ban all private firearms sales". And when they say they want to ban 100 round magazines, that sounds way more reasonable than "we intend to ban any magazine that holds more than 10 rounds" which is what they're actually trying to do. These fork tongued wannabe tyrants need to go.

Put that inaccurate comment with a prior inaccurate comment and you get 8 rounds in a bullet going 5x faster than other bullets.

Every sentence he makes has incorrect statements. He has no idea what he is talking about. I was 12 when the original assault weapon ban was put in place. I can remember the year when it happened. He passed the legislation and can't even remember whether it was 92 or 93... Try again Joe.

You'd be civilly liable if someone steal your car and kills someone but gun owners are given a pass... What??? Nope.

"I visited every mass shooting site for years." ... "There are 4,000 mass shootings per year!" He visits 4,000 mass shooting sites every year?:what:

There is a lot to see here, voting for antis thinking they can't get legislation passed is dangerous, sooner or later they'll get it passed if we keep voting for antis, either side of the aisle.
This statement makes sense only if you are a single-issue gun voter. If, on the other hand, guns are only one item among a whole constellation of issues in which you are interested, things become a lot more complicated. Then you have to vote strategically, weighing the chances of each thing passing, etc. So if antigun legislation has only a remote chance of passing, then you can safely shift your attention to other things.

He'll want 8 but will compromise on 10rds. Don't even know how'd they enforce with the 10s of millions of magazines that were made that are greater than 8 rds short of some single stack pistols

Stop fooling yourself and vote for people who hold your other views but are not anti, stop pretending, or trying to convince us, that they can't get legislation passed. They can, they have, and they will again when they have the votes.
