Big Annoucement! I've sold the TV rights for a book that started out on this forum.

Nothing new yet. They've still got the option, but no decision on whether or not to go into production. (as far as I know). So in the meantime I get paid basically to do nothing. :)

gspn, I originally self published. I promoted it online and most of my initial sales were to THR members. :) It did really, shockingly good, and a big indy bookdealer recommended me to Baen. They picked me up, my books have done really well, and now I've got 7 books out and 18 more under contract.
 
Just think: If the TV show actually goes, then you can do your own line of botique t-shirts and tannerite target--perhaps not both at the same time...
 
Somebody on this forum turned me on to your books a few months ago, and I haven't been able to put them down since.

Glad to know you have a bunch more on contact, because I intend to buy them!

Can't wait for Legion to come.
 
Wow 18 more under contract that's great. I'm half way through the Alpha MHI book and really like it. I like more of the monster hunting aspect than the outer worldy beings, etc.
 
Hopefully we'll see something being produced soon. I've read all of the Monster Hunter books as well as Hard Magic and enjoyed them.
 
So are you going to be able to maintain the story's integrity? Will you be able to give the nod on gun handling and sound effects? There's nothing worse than hearing a revolver sound when a Glock is pulled out.
 
Hey Larry - just finished Monster Hunter Alpha yesterday. That's your best yet!
I'm glad you got away from the impossibility of the Old Ones and inter-dimensional bombs stuff back to the good, solid reality of werewolves and bullets... :D
