Not exactly gun related but my older brother's getting married.:what: :( It's a pity that another good guy is falling into the trap that you women so cleverly plan.:D I told him that when he get's married, as he's walking down the aisle I'm gonna say something like "Man walking on the green mile" or "You ready for the execution? Need a blindfold?":D I'm the funny guy. His girlfriend wants to get married in Vegas by a Elvis:neener: .

P.S. I just figured out how this is gun related. What's a good gun wedding gift?

Will his wife even allow any guns? Gotta check that. Beyond that it depends on if he has any guns already. I'd suggest a nice shotgun if he doesn't already have one and if he'll be getting a new place with his new wife. Shotgun kinda goes along with the idea of defending your new home and your new family.

otherwise a handgun.

Not knocking Dove, but it is pathetic we actually ask this question. That small optimistic side of me likes to ask, does she like a black tacti-whatever AR, or the womany pink AR?

I'm not sure of her gun beliefs. I do know that she recently graduated from college so that sounds like a bad sign to me. The Mossberg 500 or 590 is what I was leaning towards because my brother is left-handed.

"I do know that she recently graduated from college so that sounds like a bad sign to me."

Yeah, getting an education is a terrible idea.

When my brother-in-law, who is a good friend, married my sister, I took model paint and wrote "Help me!" on the bottom of his shoes so that it would show when they kneeled at the altar.

When so many college professors think that their job is to propagandize their liberal agenda, the value of a college "education" becomes a bit questionable.

As for gun-related wedding gifts, a gift certificate for some range time might be nice. Range bags monogrammed "His" & "Hers" would be cute.

Remember, a lot of anti-gunners are just latent pro-gunners who've never been to a target range (as Kim DuToit so frequently points out in his New Shooter Reports).

One of my friends from highschool calls last night, first of our "batch" to be dropping the question (soon)... I told him I'm happy for him, but will never forgive him for being the first one to fold. :)

My girlfriend will have to be far away when he and his fiancee come visit - all I need right now is a woman running around with some big diamond on her finger to drive my girlfriend crazy with her already 'twitching ring finger'.

(sigh)

Buy him some self help books. :)

Ahhh marriage...the 3 ring circus...Engagement Ring....Wedding Ring...Suffering!!

Of course if anyone tells my wife I said that she'll be REALLY angry and probably slap me a good one...then I'll be forced to have to apologize profusely and beg for forgiveness!! ;) :D
