birdshead grip

I have a spare ruger birdshead grip frame that I'm thinking about putting on my 45 blackhawk.My son had one put on a older vaquero and it looks and feels great but I don't know how they would look on a blackhawk.If anyone has done this on a blackhawk please post some pictures.

Found several pictures on a ruger forum.The vaquero looks a lot better than the blackhawk withy a birdshead frame.

It depends on how its done. If done well it works very well. This one was done by Mag na port and fitted up very well, if the barrel is too long it feels front heavy and is hard to handle with the birdshead. This was cut to 4 inches and handles great.
