Oh, come on guys. I'm subscribed here! Seriously, it has been a while now, and I am forgetting the characters names. MOAR! Actually, I think I'm just going to drop it...

Jones'n!

Just like Mossberg, I found this thread and read the available chapters in one sitting. Problem is, I found just before shutting down for the night, so stayed up WAYYYY too late. Only to be left hanging!

My wife and I are the type who rented the first three seasons of 24 (having never seen any) and then watched them around the clock!!! I hate waiting...

Congrats, Grisso on the birth of your son. Best thing in the world -- playing with him is WAY BETTER than feeding all the gun/zombie nuts here. We will wait! :D

I know, but I feel like it's been such a long time. The little guy is probably a teenager already and therefore off on his own away from his parents! Daddy's free to post!

please hrgrisso. we are begging you here. we all need MOAR!!! we are having withdrawels, and even starting to rant and rave and foam at the mouth here. its gettin purty bad. in fact, i think some of us are turning into zombies from reading and rereading, losing sleep over the next installment and such, so please for the good of your faithfull readers give us just a little morsel to go on

Man, it's been a while with no zombie stories! I'm working on Hurricane Flu II. Give me another month or two and I'll start posting chapters.

YES! YOU CAME THROUGH FOR US APPLE!
Sounds like an excellent idea. If you'll wait a bit (probably about that month) I could actually get you some material on reality-based zombies, ones that could actually happen. It's actually in the middle of being compiled right now.

chrlefxtrt,

You're on it...at least, that's what I was told when I made the same suggestion a few short days ago.:)

If you want a place to post fiction, start a thread called something like "Post your fiction here, please", and then we can all post to it as we want. Or everyone who posts fiction can start the name of their thread with "Fiction:" and then insert the name of their work after the colon. Then doing a forum search for "fiction" would bring up all the threads.

After thinking about the possible reasons to avoid sub-forums, it came to me that more people will read it if it is in the general discussion. Folks will idly click on a thread in the general discussion forum and then get interested in it, while they might never actively seek it out if it were stuck off in a separate writing sub-forum.

Or maybe I'm just trying to rationalize away my disappointment... [dabs at tears]

I think I speak for everyone when I say I am very glad to hear that. I found this thread the other day and breezed through the work done so far. I was very distraught when I realized there had been no updates in over a month.

Obviously family and work come before this. But, its welcome news to hear that he has started working on it again.
