Just looked at www.bf2005.com, and Dick's is doing $15 off guns over $99, and $30 off over $300... So if you've been eyeing something... While your better half is fighting over pillow shams at Wally World...

What gun to carry to the 5:00 a.m. "get the heck outta the way of the crowd" sales?
 
Ithaca Auto and Burglar Gun.

Should allow one to exit from vehicle, kept someone from "burglar-ing" your gun from showcase you saw first while in the store - and get one back to vehicle with new purchases.

I went to a Dick's ONCE. Stood at the "firearms" counter for ten mins. with a guy and his wife that had already stood there for ten. (them 20mins.) You couldn't find any help!! They were going to buy a Mosberg Shot gun, I was going to buy a case of ammo. We three walked out of the store together. We saw two sales persons in the entire store on our way out.. Galyan's (bought out by Dick's) was never like that. I won't go there to use their phone.
Dick's an aptly named store!!

More importantly, what holster. Something with good retention so when that soccer mom throws an elbow it doesn't knock your piece out onto the sales floor.
He's got a gun!
 
Anyone know if Academy Sports is having any specials? I don't see them listed. I am still pissed to this day that I missed their 30% off all handguns special they had :cuss:
 
Cabelas XD $499.00 3 mags, holster, Tac-light

Cabelas had an add this morning for an XD with 3 mags, holster AND tac-light for $499.00...REALLY thinking about getting one.

Gonna go find me a nice Walnut one. Unless they try to just give me one and not let me inspect it, like they did with the M38's last year.
 
Academy has 700ADL in .243 for well under $300, something like 269, IIRC. Shame it's no in a caliber I'd like to have....
They also have 870 Express, std or youth models, 12 or 20ga for $196

Can the general public buy L.A.V.s? Or half-tracks? An M1 tank might be hard to find a parking spot for... One of those padded riot suits might come in handy too...
