Black Powder Shortage Possible in Virginia

During the last session of the Virginia General Assembly, HB1482 was introduced to deal with a problem that popped up in Henrico County in November 2003. The fire marshall told a gun show promoter he had to remove black powder from his show. The bill passed the House of Delegates and was reported out of the Senate Local Government Committee. However, when it got to the floor of the Senate, it was re-reffered back to Courts of Justice, where it died because several members who should have supported it did not vote to report it (the little chicken %&*@s did not have the guts to vote against it either).

The Virginia Firearms Dealers have created a publication, Firearms Business Bulletin, to inform the public about the issue. Interested parties are encouraged to download it and read it then contact your legislators.
