Have a friend who will be working as a civilian employee of federal gov. over in Israel for a couple of years. He's just started into black powder shooting and would like to restart his hobby over there.

Does anyone know if blackpowder guns/powder are available over in Israel
and what are the restrictions if any on them?

I would think that given their need for real fighting arms there, a black powder weapon is probably viewed as a relic or anachronism.

    I don't think so.

IIRC, you are only allowed one rifle, and I think it has to be battle-effective. Your friend would have trouble owning guns in any event, unless he's an IDF veteran.
