I haven't seen this posted elsewhere here.

Blain's Farm & Fleet, a major midwest retail chain with stores in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, is enforcing a no carry policy. Wisconsin Carry Inc. is heading up a campaign asking them to change their policy. To Blain's credit they are allowing comments on their policy to be posted on their Facebook page.

If you have not done so, please post a polite comment asking them to change their policy.

That's the price you pay for having a FB page - "friends" that disagree with you on a social networking site. Maybe they'll get the message though and reverse their gun policy. Good luck.

For these "social networking" sites, I have a problem with their use of the term "friend"... They should use the term "acquaintances" since that is all they are (at best).... "Acquaintances" can be friends or enemies... Some of us have more of the latter...

That doesn't surprise me about Blain's. We have a Blains in my home town and you're lucky to find any ammo there. Mills' fleet farm on the other hand is awesome. They have sales on AKs and SKSs and a great ammo selection.

I wonder if thats same company as our local Fleet Farm,, their policy staed on entry is "all guns brought into store MUST be checked at customer service before entering" "This DOES NOT apply to permit-holders,,, makes me smile when i walk in !! If our store even hints at a policy change in regards to this,I will be on them like white on rice !!

The 2nd Amendment is the only "permit" that I need to hold...
