I have loaded some and I found the sweet spot for my Sig

However I wonder what people found worked for them, I had to experiment.
Hornady books says for 180's start load for Blue Dot is 6.3 and Max is 8.2
Speer Book says start load is 8.0 and Max is 8.9

That being said I started @ 7 and worked up to only 8.6, found that 8.3 was the ticket.

Anyone loaded 8.9 with a 180?? 8.6 was was hot as hell, and had a loose group. I went back to 8.3 and that was hot but had a tight group.

    Just posting something for discussion

    TIA

I've loaded up to 9 grains of Blue Dot with 180 Speer TMJs. The accuracy was not that great out of my XDm, recoil was brutal, and it felt like the slide was bottoming out. At that load I didn't get any pressure signs except for slightly flattened primers.

I have had good luck in the 8.2-8.4 range with 180 XTPs. Still a darn hot load, but controlable and pretty accurate.
