...and he's off to Knob Creek in a few minutes. If you're camping, come by the Freak Show tent for some coffee, and if you're in the pole barn, come by Viking Machine's tables... I don't know how to make beef jerkey, so I've run up a buncha t-shirts, which may or may not be interesting - I particularly like the red, white and blue tie-dyes... You can take the hippie and throw him in the gun culture, but.... Arne also makes some very cool drum modifications so that you can have 70 rounds in your M-14, or other .308 semi- or full-auto...

If you're a "gunny," you have never been, and you live within 8 hours drive of Louisville (this means you, folks from the "southern" ville...), find an excuse this weekend. This is one of those things that says "this is the United States" very well... What other country could have a machine gun festival, for Bob's sake?

Just got back, and this was one of the strangest shoots ever... Weirdness happens in threes...

1) If your weapon is doing weird stuff, STOP SHOOTING. There was a guy who was having a problem with some case head seps, extraction problems, etc. He kept shooting. It was a 20mm. I think he got out of the hospital today. If he'd been 2" over, he wouldn't have to worry about contraception...

2) If you're gonna drink in the campground, don't try to unscrew the lid to the pressure tank of a coleman stove while it's lit. I think he's probably still in the hospital. He was drunk enough not to want to go.

3) If you're gonna drive like an idiot, and almost run over people, and then try to draw on a security guard, expect to spend a LONG time in the pokey. Hawk got a dislocated shoulder wrestling the doof, but he should be okay.

Had fun, sold enough t-shirts to pay for the gas, and the girlfriend's 7-year-old got to shoot one of Huey's M16-22 conversions... I shot a Minimi. I liked it.
