My imagination is really out there, the design on the scales remind me of the hated nazi SS lightning bolt insignia.
Anybody else see it?
Now I see it!

More Jeep tires, than SS.I didn't see that, but it did remind me of the tread on WWII vintage jeep tires.
I didn’t realize there was anything other than blue and red.For screws that size, Loctite recommends their Purple formula.
Purple is also good on scope mounts and ring screws.I didn’t realize there was anything other than blue and red.
You're not going to like me Monday if my new knife arrives like USPS says it will.Enablers, the lot of you, enablers.
LoL, I'll be ok, it's not like I'm running out of blades anytime soon. You're not going to like me Monday if my new knife arrives like USPS says it will.
You're basically paying $20 extra for the CPM-S30V steel in the <2" blade, the AUS-8 versions are selling for $35. For $39 you can get it with a D2 blade.BladeOps is having a flash sale on the Böker Sub Kalashnikov Auto Knife. Normally, $109.95, it's $49.00 until midnight tonight. Free shipping.
That's all true. I have other knives with AUS-8 and D2 blades, and I wanted to try and have a knife with CPM-S30V. When I found it on sale the other day, I jumped. And I shared the link. My EDC is a 2" knife since I mainly use it to open and break down boxes. In the past I've freaked out others in the office when I opened a 4 inch blade. You're basically paying $20 extra for the CPM-S30V steel in the <2" blade, the AUS-8 versions are selling for $35. And well worth it for some users. Compared to D2, S30V has equal toughness, better edge retention, and higher corrosion resistance. You're basically paying $20 extra for the CPM-S30V steel in the <2" blade, the AUS-8 versions are selling for $35. For $39 you can get it with a D2 blade.
Caught the clip while sitting down and bent/twisted it.What did you do, DC? If you just lost a screw you can ask them for one.
Contact them and they may just send one to you.
I'm pretty sure Boker USA (or someone they contract) does the conversions here in the US. Multiple retailers sell the Boker Plus autos, and I doubt they're all doing the conversions themselves.Boker or BladeOps? I wonder if the work BladeOps does makes Boker not want to touch them?
Boker or BladeOps?

I'm certain that Boker doesn't convert these or any of their offshore produced knives to auto. They got into quite a lot of trouble a couple of decades ago with the Top Lock/Speed Locks and learned a painful lesson. Retailers, OTOH, avoid the whole Customs pain having them done or doing them.
