Book help....What is the name of this gun related book?

I want to get that book that came out in the last year about a sniper, I think he was a marine? What is the tittle of that book? Thanks...I cant find it on Barnes and noble.

The sniper was on the Oriely factor if that helps
 
It wouldn't happen to be Jarhead would it? Or how about Shooter by Jack Coughlin? Those are the only 2 I can think of. And I even work in a bookstore!!
 
I don't recommend the book

I am sure the book you are referring to is "Shooter" by Jack Coughlin. It reads like some schoolboys fantasy of what he imagines the life of a Marine sniper to be. It is also very poorly written, and is a real chore to wade through. Don't waste your money.
 
I personally would recommend shooter. I liked how Coughlin's thoughts are represented in incomplete sentences. It's nice to see that some people are willing to write like they think. (i.e. I don't think in complete sentences, and I don't know anybody who does)

Of course, if you've read Marine Sniper by Charles Henderson, then this is just child's play.

I like Shooter.

And whatever you do, stay away from My War by Colby Buzzel. I didn't care for it.
