Just a few hours ago I came home with a Springfield XD 9 Tactical (5"). It complements my XD 40 Service (4") quite nicely. :)

I bought a Buckmark on New Year's Eve, but I picked it up this year. Does that count?

you go eric lol.9mm glocks are excellent weapons!

    i own 2 g26s(my most ccw'ed gun)and a g19 i aquired last month as a christmas present to myself.my first glock was a 1993 g19 and i think the new ones shoot somewhat better.

before this years out i will add a g34 to the pile, this will be set up as my idea of the ultimate home defense pistol;good sights trigger system, extended cap mag(g17mag+taylor+10 extension=28rounds ready to repel boarders.will also add a light laser combo(hopefully insight will have one with a green laser diode by then).

my reasons for prefering 9mm;my ability to strike a target accuratly 3 times in the time i take to hit it twice with a 45acp or 40s&w.handguns are'nt the best stoppers so i belive that its best to get as many on target as quick as possible to stop the threat.

just remember 9mm relys on good ammo to stop,my ammo of choice is fed bple 9mm 115gr jhp +p+ which does 1250fps from a g26 and somewhat more from longer barreled glocks.

    forgot to mention i picked up a h&r mod 622 6"barreled 22 cal wheelgun.

well used with a little surface rust and a goofy part plastic hammerspring guide that had the plastic part broken.good thing gunparts corp makes a all metal part which for a bit less than $20 they'll send me.thats all it needs to be able to give me another way to shoot cheap 22lr that wont feed in autos.

all told she'll set me back a total of $120

    not to shabby imho:)

I'll be picking up my Walther P-1 within the next month. I'm seriously considering putting a Sig P-6 on layaway tommorrow.

Not yet. Low on cash. Tried to trade off my HK USP Tactical in .45, but was not offered a very good deal. Starting to get all shaky, has been over a year since I purchased a new gun. I think I am about to go through withdrawal.

    I'm still thinking.

    Might be an M&P compact

    A dealer I know has a nice S&W 6946

My dad has expressed a willingness to part with his Walther P99 QA

I really like the new S&W 40 Centennial.

    And I want a BFR in 45-70.

I'd like to get a couple of AR15s before November.

    Decisions, decisions.

Bought one of the new Ruger 10/22 pistols today. I didn't even know they were out yet.

When I got home I put a BSA Red Dot sight on it and let a friend and his boy run some magazines through it.

Pretty impressive. At 25 yards, with some 20+ year old Remington HV ammo they were scaring inch groups.

Tomorrow I think I'll have some time to put a scope on it and see how it does at some distance.
