Bought a new Sig Sauer...

Ok, so this past weekend I went to a fairly good sized gun show and found a Sheriff's Deputy selling a personal fire arm. A dealer had this gentleman's P226 on consignment for $385, I managed to get them to agree to $350 as the selling price. Needless to say I bought this.

Now, before you say good buy or bad buy, let me explain this...

The officer told me he wasn't a gun guy and needed the money more than this thing sitting in its box. He wanted a new roof on his house. He bought it when he got out of the army because he had one just like it in Germany. After he bought it he put it on a shelf in his bedroom and it just sat there unfired.

So dare I say it, I bought a NIB P226 for $350? Is that a good buy? I'll try to post some pice later folks!

I just like to hear it! Just so long as I wake up tomorrow morning and it's still there, i'll be happy. Box and all the original paper work. The only downer is that it came with two factory Clinton era mags... But hey, I won't nit pick!
