I went to a gun show today, and came out with my first 9mm. Actually, it's my first pistol other than my Ruger 22/45. I ended up with a new CZ-75BD, with two mags, for $399 plus tax. I had read lots of good things here about the CZ, and when I picked it up it just felt right. I can't wait to take it out to the range.

I recently purchased my first 9mm also. It is a joy to shoot, and loading ammo saves me quite a bit compared to my .45 ACPs. My is remarkable accurate. I hope your as pleased with your purchase as I have been mine!!

My most recent 9mm is a CZ-75 (Pre-B). Great guns, those CZs. I'm sure you're going to love yours. I'm already thinking about another.

    Congrats...

Congrats BRUENOR on your new CZ!... Great choice!! You will enjoy this gun for many, many years and will ultimately become a "CZ'er" with many more models to come!! I now have four and that original '75' is still my favorite... shoots 'smooth as silk', over 2000rnds and NOT ONE problem... and every time I clean it, I have this stupid little smile on my face!... ENJOY, but sometime down the road, get a chance to hold/shoot a SP-01 Tactical (w/decocker) and a P-01... Your collection will expand!!
PS: You got a great deal on that BD!...

I bought the same gun in 2002 for under $400 as well. I put the Kadet Kit on it right away. Shooting a few thousand .22 rounds is a great way to get a trigger job. When I bought mine at a gun show one of the by-standers remarked rather loudly " Who would buy one of those CZs" to which the gun dealer replied without missing a beat "Someone who wants a $600 gun for $400". Good choice.

Oh no!! I'm also a Nagant owner? You mean CZs breed too? :D

So where can I get one of those Kadet Kits, and how much do they cost?

Congrats. The CZ-75 is a great pistol and $399 sounds like a great price. I can't find any around here for less than $500!
