Turns out that they're steel cased, not what the description said. I had my gunshop order it from his catalogue, and it said brass cased. Well now I have 400 rounds of steel cased ammo that doesn't like to cycle. Hmm. How will I remedy this... :cuss::scrutiny::cool:

here are some pics after I reloaded my old strippers.

Send 'em to me. I'll dispose of them properly... downrange. ;)
I'd contact the seller, though. They may have just sent you ammo from the wrong pile. Lazy worker doesn't know the difference and doesn't care, just grabs from the first box that says "7.62x54R". They might be willing to remedy.
I've seen a number of listings of Mosin ammo which were incomplete: didn't mention that they were steel cased, corrosive, steel cored... what have you.
    Good luck

lots of steel cased mil-surp out there, not to many problems with it in the M/N rifles. some problems with Czech silver tip,but it's just on extraction. zip over to parallax bills site and ask that M/N bunch. jwr

I'd say sell them for current prices. If you paid for something different though, I would complain.

Current prices... How would you remedy a rim-lock? It does this a lot.
