:uhoh: Uh, Dan Thompson is the name on the empty seat in front of her. The thing is, he's not really dead. He's living with Elvis and John Galt in a secure, undisclosed location.

Thompson, Dan
A fine art center located in Denver who specializes in pen and ink drawings of dragons.

So maby a dragon ate him ?? LOL

You know what I was struck by was that it sounded as much like an anti-abortion campaign as an anti-gun one. Just insert a baby crying instead of a gunshot.

I think Dan Thompson was just the kid that sat in front of her in class.

Same here, its almost like they bought a canned ad from some pro-life group and made a couple of subtile edits.

Oh and for the record, John Lennin's "Imagine" is the most offensive song ever written. Silly post-modernists with their perfect world having nothing worth living for ... no right, no wrong, nothing but a global expanse of gray.

How sad.

I so agree.

That's almost laughable. What a pathetic ad. And I also, have always hated that hippie song.:barf:

Also see "yell fire" by Michael Franti. Whole hippie agenda rolled into one rather annoying musical package.

A revolution never come with a warning
A revolution never sends you an omen
A revolution just arrived like the morning
Ring the alarm, we come to wake up the snoring

They tellin' you to never worry about the future
They tellin' you to never worry about the torture
They tellin you that you'll never see the horror
Spend it all today and we will bill you tomorrow
Three piece suits and bank accounts in Bahamas
Wall street crime will never send you to the slammer
Tell all the children in the arms of their mommas
The F-15 is a homicide bomber

TV commercials for a popping pill culture
Drug companies circling like a vulture
An Iraqi babies with a G.I. Joe father
Ten years from now is anyboby gonna bother

Yell Fire, yo, yo ,yo
Here we come, here we come
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo
Revolution a comin'
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo

Everyone addicted to the same nicotine
Everyone addicted to the same gasoline
Everyone addicted to a technicolour scream
Everybody trying to get their hands on same green
From the banks of the river to the banks of the greedy
All of the riches taken back by needy
We come from the country and we come from the city
You play us on the record, you can play us on the CD
All the **** you given us is fertilizer
The seeds that we planted you can brutalize them
Tell the corporation you can never globalize you
Like Peter Toss said Legalize It
Girls and boys hear the bass and treble
Rumble in the speakers and it make you wanna rebel
Throw your hands up, take it to another level
And you can never, ever, ever make a deal with the devil

Yell Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo
Here we come, here we come
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo
Revolution a comin'
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo
Fire, yo, yo, yo, yo

I guess when their little revolution comes to my street I'll just "yell fire HOSE" and wash 'em back down the street.

Silly wet pacifists, go back and read your Mao. :D

This is just a guess, but the video makes me think that 'Darren Thompson' is supposed to be a (Possibly fictional) person that could have been important, but was gunned down before adullthood.

Or something like that.

....

It doesn't even make sense! The last anti gun commercial was better.

It was a bunch of gangsta types. And it implied that another gangsta said something about the original gansta's mother and they started pulling guns.....this was from a year ago though. I saw it on TV. It was that with different people and different guns over and over for the duration of the commercial.......it at least made sense........No scratch that it was as stupid as this one:D
.

I am a huge Beatle fan...but Imagine IS a crap song..I always find it ironic that the richest liberal hippy types always promote Communism. It's easy to Imagine no possesions when you have everything.:scrutiny:

actually Imagine is a socialist athem, the new internationale, clearly describing pure stateless communism it's officially the athem of the communist party in a few countries.
