I have found and am trying to work a deal on a brass framed CVA .44 Old Army(Navy?) The reason I'm questioning wether it's an Army or Navy is the brass frame and the fact that it is a CVA. CVA does not show a brass framed .44 on their website. Could this be a discontinued piece or a custom piece? The present owner says that it was a kit gun. Does anyone have any further info on this gun? Thanks!

they stopped selling revolvers a long time ago. if you have a picture post it up. it could be either an 1860. they were actually made by ASM imported to cva.
