Did you use chopsticks to clear cases? LOL
I clean with the primer in so the decap pin will clear the primer hole of any stuck media.

How do you add it in? I've of course used it for polishing prior to bluing, and for roll and polishing lenses, but never thought about using it for brass.Jeweler's Rouge
Does anyone here put corn cob/walnut media in their rotary "tumbler" or is it used exclusively in vibratory type "tumblers"?
I still have my 20 yr old Cabela's vibratory "tumbler" (repaired twice) that I started with. During these type discussions, I would hate to refer to "changing the media in my vibrator", or "recharging my vibrator."
I guess I could just call it my "case cleaner".
Might have to try it that way next time. I did get some rice grains in the primer hole. Had to use a pick....a little sideways pry to break the rice off flush with the hole and then a pole to get it out.Did you use chopsticks to clear cases? LOL

Have you tried just using plain tumbling media? I started tumbling my brass way pre-web and got no "internet wisdom" on what is "necessary", and walnut lizard litter (dark brown) from PetSmart worked great by itself...

I have a fist sized block of red rouge, and I use one of those cheap styrofoam shapers to scrape off a tablespoon (+/-) of rouge powder which I just sprinkle in as the tumbler is runningHow do you add it in?
