Not real important, but my Son came home with a bunch of once fired Frontier brass still in the boxes that an old fella gave him, it's probably at least 20 yrs. or more old. It is 7 mag. and I haven't used Frontier in many years, which was for .270 win. when I last did. I think I remember something didn't appeal to me about it, just can't recall specifics. I think I recall it being a bit brittle compared to Winny brass?

I had a bunch of frontier in .308 and .30-30- was good stuff.......lasted quite a long time, if memory serves. Better than flakeral.

My experience with Frontier brass has been that it seems to be somewhat softer than other brass. I was forming 22 High Power out of 30-30 Dominion brass and had a lot of crushed cases. I tried some Frontier brass and only lost about one in twenty.

I have shot a lot of Frontier brass, what do I remember? Frontier brass always came in a box of Hornady ammo. Accuracy? as always, it depended on the rifle.

Next? I need to form about 200 wildcat cases for an 8mm/338 Winchester type chamber, again the plan, starting with 8mm Remington Mag cases, then start on the shorter cases, but first, I need to check to determine if the neck in the chamber will allow formed 8mm Remington cases.

Soft? My fired cases did not develop loose primer pockets, the flash hole did not expand nor did the case head expand as being upset when hammered from the inside.

Yep, it's fine brass. I use some in .30-06 in my 03A3 and it was originally Hornady ammo from about 6 or 7 years ago.
