Hey guys my father-inlaw wants me to reload for him which is'nt a problem. How ever I think the quantity might be, he wants 1,000 rounds for each of his guns but he only has about 100 peicies of brass all together. so my question is where is the best place you guys have found for buying brass in bulk for a decent price for 30 carbine, 357 mag, and 30-06. I have searched on google but it is like $350-$400 for 1,000 rounds have you guys found any better deals or is this about average. thanks for the help

I doubt you can save any money over Wallyworld white box ammo if you have to go out and buy new brass.

And with .30 Carbine, that is very likely what you will have to do.

.357 Mag and 30-06 should be a little more commen, easier to find, and cheaper.

$350 - $400 per 1,000 is way out of line for used brass.

Here is fired .357 for $91.00.

I pick up .30-06 once fired HXP or LC brass pretty regularly and never pay more than .10 a round for it. There's just too much out there to pay more than that. I don't shoot .357 so not sure there. I bought 1,000 rounds of carbine mil brass a couple of weeks ago for I think .12 per round. I also bought some new Remington brass from Midway for about .19 per round a few months ago.

If he`s gonna shoot & shoot more often I`d spring for new brass .

If not once fired cleaned good is better than ok.

If ya put a bit of effort & time into it & register on the forums most of the time ya can find what your lookin for with some patience at a good price !!

I buy fired brass for plinkin & new for my huntin rnds but condition all brass the same wether new or fired .

But do ya home work & check prices , like rcmodel said ya may exceed the cost of new whitebox ammo .
