Not sure if anyone here likes Breaking Bad, but I enjoyed the opening dialogue from Episode 2 in which Walt purchases a .38 snubbie.
I didn't detect anything incorrect or unrealistic about the seller's advice on weapon choice or concealed carry methods... just curious if anyone else had an opinion either way.

I never watched an episode until AMC ran all the reruns in sequence and I got caught up before this new episode started.

I think they actually do a pretty good job. As you mentioned the dialogue was good about what will conceal better, practicing your draw, where to put the holster, etc.

Although I do think the gun seller said something funny about "5 in the gun, 10 in the magazine" or something strange like that. But overall it seems pretty accurate.

The shootouts involving his bro-in-law with Tuco and the Mexican cartel guys were both pretty realistic IMO.

Loved the scene in which Hank fights off the two cartel hitmen -nice use of a car as a weapon, and some serious 1911 love at the end of the scene. Good thing he knew that you can manually put a round "in the pipe" or else we'd be channeling Hank through a medium during season 4.

Dentite: I was not sure about the 5 in the gun 10 in the mag. It was not said clearly. I think he was comparing the auto and revolver and saying 5 rounds should be enough.

Love the show! (High school chemistry teacher turned meth cook) Walt gets brave & buys a gun outside the law. Hmmm... What's he gonna do with that? I love how he practices & drills to get fast to pull that little snubbie. The boss's right hand man isn't even worried. I think a hammer shrouded snubbie is the ticket.

Have seen a few episodes. From what I have seen, the chemistry is quite accurate, so I certainly believe they have their fact-checking in order for other things as well.

That scene defines "warrior mentality" and determination not to give up. Then again, Hank being a DEA agent, he has to figure any social encounters he has isn't exactly going to include Snow White and the 7 dwarves.

I think that scene is one of the most classic fight scenes that ever made it to the tube.

I watch that show whenever I can. Most of what you see corresponds with the kind of folks involved in that sort of business. The thing that always catches my eye is the way most of the consequences for those in that life come right with the lifestyle.

Getting busted is the least of their worries in that world - just like real life...

A lot of chemistry geeks watch the show, Iliked it from the begining it's original and practical to a degree. There was a good shootout last season envolving twin hitmen with 1911's, good depiction.
