I have a Briley in one gun. It works fine. It went in easier than a solid bushing, but cost more. Total cost for parts and labor (by FLG, I am mechanically inept and would not dream of installing a fitted bushing.) was about the same either way. I had rather he get the money than Briley, so my next new bushing was a King's.
I don't know how much you will benefit with one as a dropin on a Mk IV. Note that your stock barrel flares at the muzzle to set up in the collet bushing. I don't know how close a fit you will get with a ring bushing right there at the muzzle. Do some measuring. Is there a straight section at the muzzle for the ring to support?
Ideally, you should have the barrel lathe turned straight and smooth, then pick a ring diameter .0005" larger (Briley says .0010" but that will feel sloppy. They only make rings in .0010" increments so you have to get the .0005" clearance by careful control of barrel diameter.) Don't put a sharp step in barrel diameter for bushing relief as called for in standard bushing fitting. It can be the same all the way, or have a tapered relief, but don't leave a corner for the ring to hang up on. I saw one that chipped the TiN coating and gouged the barrel up, probably from a sharp relief cut.
