Bring back the glossy scopes!!!

I wish I got one think I seen one for $399. I miss the old k series

that might have been what it was I know it was either 399 or 499. They dropped down into the 360s but by then I had already forgotten about them and didn't see it until I was looking for them a year or two later.

My Weatherby Mark V needs a new scope. All I have found that I can afford are matte.

I solved the problem with a custom, all matte Mark V and now it and the Zeiss match nicely.

On the other hand I'd love to see at least some mid-priced glossy scopes on the market. A polished, blued, glossy rifle definitely needs one and I still have a couple in dire need of a scope upgrade.

Hey, I resemble that remark! My 700 BDL is presently wearing a matte scope and it just doesn't look right.

The reason they went away is that its more expensive to produce a gloss finish than matte. Jack up the price $50 or $75 for the exact same scope and the group clamoring for gloss gets a lot smaller.

I would happily pay the extra, but I agree that there probably aren't enough of us.
