Brought home A new toy

    I could not resist... Brought home a P229 Equinox today... Pics and review to follow, but first impression is that she is a beauty and I cannot wait to dump 500 rounds of Federal 180gr down her tomorrow! :D

    Congrats,

    I've owned 2 P229n/r 40's nearly 4yrs now, and both have 7k flawless rounds thru them and they are a joy to shoot, consistently accurate, and for HD/SD I, too, use the 180gr..

    But, sometime up the road, do get some 165gr FMJ, as they are fun to shoot at targets at 30ft on out, as they have a tad more kick, but the higher velocity gets them there faster and straighter..

    But you're off to a great start
