Browning A-Bolt and X-Bolt Rifles

Are the drop out magazines one in the same, meaning will one fit the other. Just bought a X-Bolt White Gold GLS and looking for a spare magazine.

Well did alittle more digging and they are not one in the same.

Yep, as you probably found the A-bolts used a double stack detachable box attached to the hinged floorplate whereas the new X-bolt uses a rotary magazine that drops out. Additionally I am sure you discovered that neither are particularly cheap but IIRC the A-bolt magazines usually cost quite a bit more.
