Browning BL22

    I have a Browning BL22 that needed a heavy cleaning and disassembled it and all went well until I tried to slide the bolt assembly into the barrel and tube assembly. Problem: the ejector spring keeps falling out and jamming. I've wrecked two springs trying to slide the 2 sections together and my patience is really getting thin. Any advice as to how I could get them together? TIA!

    Update: Took a deep breath and tried it again and it slid together without a hitch! I function checked it and test fired and all is well!

    I have a BL22 and remember the first time I took it apart. I had the same issue with that small spring. I uses a little nail polish to hold the spring in its little pocket. Glad to hear you got it back together.

    Grease us used some times to hold small parts in place.
