Browning BPS

Browzing the Browning site it appears the BPS Stalker is no longer in production? Am looking to pick up a utilitarian pump and was interested in the BPS. Anyone know if the 12 gauge Stalker model is really no longer in production? Second question....are the 10 gauge and 12 gauge receivers the same action size?

The 10 and 12 gauge use different receivers. There was a short time period when they first made the 3.5-inch version of the 12 ga BPS Stalker that they used the 10 gauge frame since it was already long enough. The 3-inch 12 ga BPS were still on a 12 Gauge frame That 3.5-inch 12 gauge on a 10 ga receiver only last a few model years. Current 10 ga and 12 ga guns are built on receivers specific for the gauge.
