Yesterday afternoon, I went out to Laberge's farm with my new Buckmark, along with my 5906 and Mossberg 42 M .22 rifle, and the handy-dandy Ultimate Cliploader.

What can I say? Damn thing is fun. Ran just under 200 rounds through the Buckmark (thanks largely to aforementioned cliploader). Much of it was just rapid-fire blasting at Targets of Opportunity (read: cans, clay pigeons, etc.).

The Browning ran flawlessly, except for some FTFs that happened when I forgot to push the magazine in all the way (d'oh!), and, you know, it didn't hit everything it was supposed to hit. Though, when I slowed down and actually aimed it seemed to improve. Funny how that works...

The 5906: meh. Can't shoot worth a damn, anyway, so I can't say much. Don't like the whole DA/SA thing anyway. Probably should get a Glock or XD. Or Sig DAK....

Mossberg 42 M: FTE just about every round. I may have forgotten to lube it after I cleaned all the gunk out of the bolt.

Found out that I can miss a paper plate 8 times out of 10 with a pistol (~50 ft., I think), and put 6 rounds (the two flyers don't count! :banghead: ) into a group the size of a silver dollar with the rifle (both standing).

Need to work on my marksmanship.

Need to enlarge my stash of .22 lr ammo. :p

Need to buy more guns. :uhoh:

I have had a Buck Mark Target for about 10 years and will never have any other .22.

    Best firearm I own!!!!

South PA, and a bit West of center!
caseydog and I shoot pins on Wednesday's ... and he got a Buckmark specially - it has been absolutely A1 - more so since he used a grease as lube - Gun Slick IIRC.

I am impressed with it and had I not gotten a 22/45 already would for sure have considered it as a very good buy.

I have ordered one of those loading dealies - knew they were around but never got to buying one. I see it suits Buckmark too - I'll bet caseydog will want one too :)
