Browning lever .22 born on date

Good day all,

Ive' just closed a deal on a Browning lever action .22 rifle($125),and I wondered if anyone may have access to dates for serial #'s.I'm not even sure of the exact model just yet,as I don't get to see it again till this evening but the serial number is 378029XX.Any help ,worth,and comments out this rifle would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry I didn't see your post until today; and I'm sorry I

can't help with birthday question. I'm hoping you might be able to

help me. I'm looking for a light-weight, quick-handling .22 for my

wife and the Browning is high on my list. If you bought it, would

you tell me what you think of it?
