Nice! I used a Mark III for years in three position competition until I came up with an Anschutz. Funny thing is, I still have the BSA and sold the Anschutz. Too much character for me to get rid of. Mine now has a Redfield scope and sees some benchrest action now and then.
If its like mine, it'll chuck the spent brass with considerable force - enough that people a couple of lanes over would move after the casings would bounce off the ceiling and pelt them.
I was always impressed with how well the action felt and worked. The real problem with the earlier guns is if they get knocked around - like if it falls over in a rack - it can bend the aluminum forearm hangar and cause grouping issues, especially when stressed by the sling. That was addressed in the later models like yours, but to get the most out of it, you'll have to be consistent with the sling tension because the barrel isn't fully floated anymore.
